Safe, caring and on time – patient transport in Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg district
ZEUS takes you to medical appointments, dialysis, hospital or rehab – walking, in your own wheelchair, in a carry chair or lying down. As a contract partner of all German statutory health insurance funds, we bill approved rides directly.
Office hours: Mon–Fri 8 am – 5 pm, Sat 9 am – 4 pm. Ride requests by phone are accepted around the clock. Written requests in English are welcome.
Rides for every need
Medical appointments
GPs and specialists, dialysis, chemotherapy and radiotherapy – including regular series of appointments.
Hospital & rehab
Admission, discharge and transfers between hospitals, plus rides to inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation.
Wheelchair transport
Stay in your own wheelchair, electric ones included – boarding by lift or ramp, secured with certified restraint systems.
Private trips
Airport transfers, family visits and excursions – no prescription needed, price agreed in advance.
How payment works
- Statutory health insurance: your doctor issues a transport prescription (“Verordnung einer Krankenbeförderung”). For outpatient treatment, your insurer usually has to approve it in advance – we are happy to help.
- Co-payment: 10 % of the fare, at least €5 and at most €10 per ride – unless you are exempt.
- Private insurance and self-payers: we tell you the price before the ride.
- Not sure? Give us a call – we will explain the next steps.
Where we drive
Our home is Swisttal. We cover the Rhein-Sieg district, Bonn, Euskirchen and the Rhein-Erft district – longer trips across Germany on request.
Medical emergency?
We are a patient transport service, not an ambulance. In a medical emergency, always call 112.
